Update - Kind Of

Hey everyone. What happens when you can't get to your blog for a long time? Life happens. And it has been crazy

Peter is still in school. He has had some set backs but all in all he is doing well. He just keeps plugging away at it. He is also home with Aly and is having a fun time being a stay at home dad but is starting to miss working. (It must be a guy thing). He can't wait for school to get over so that he can do what he really wants to do - mess with peoples heads.

Jill's work is getting more and more busy every day as more fire departments agree to send their gear in for maintenance. It is exciting to be working on a new company and especially exciting to be making such a difference in the world.

Also, Jill has started her own little business with her mom on the side selling Shelf Reliance THRIVE foods. If anyone is interested let me know or go to www.shelfreliance.com/jillaustin. It is really fun and the food is excellent. It makes great food storage and wonderful healthy snacks. Aly's favorite is the pineapple, strawberries, and blackberries. Jill's is the freeze dried chicken and Taco flavored TVP and Peter loves the Macaroons. I think mostly because he can make them - just add water. We even have a way to build up your food storage slowly and inexpensively.

Aly is a bundle of fun. She is full of tons of 2 year old energy. She loves singing, especially I am a Child of God and I love to see the Temple. She also loves having tea parties with her stuffed animals. She is really into anything princess right now. We have to tell her on Sunday that we are putting her special princess dress on or she won't wear her Sunday clothes. She's so funny. All her shoes have to be princess shoes and she loves sleeping in them. We love her so much. She always brings a smile to our face
