About Us

My photo
We were married January 12, 2008 on an unusually warm beautiful day. On November 12 our wonderful daughter Alyssa joined our family. We love to go for walks, hike, camp, play lots of music and spend time with all of our family. We are grateful that we are able to be around so much family. Life is Beautiful.

New Pictures

Aly has discovered that she loves to shop. Shoe shopping is her favorite.

October 1st was Caylin's 1st birthday. So we went over for her party. Aunt Cami let all the kids decorate their own cupcakes. The goal was to make monster cupcakes. Aly was more interested in eating the candy then decorating with it.

October 9th our stake held a Country Festival. Their was a chili cook-off, entertainment, and all sorts of dancing. It was a lot of fun and they had a great turnout.

The very first project of MarKen PPE, Jill's new job, was to make Pink Turnout gear for the City of North Las Vegas. Every Oct. the Pink Ribbon Tour, a tour for Breast Cancer awareness, tours the nation with it's final stop being Las Vegas. North Las Vegas Fire Dept. hosts the events here in town. As part of the fundraiser there is a fashion show of Cancer Survivors. The Survivors are escorted by Firemen who will wear the Pink turnout gear that Becky, Jill, and Nikole made. After the show the gear gets auctioned off and the money is donated to Breast Cancer research. Joey and Mark (one of the owners of the company) were kind enought to try the gear on so that we could see if it needed any tweeking. What great sports. When Capt. Williams came to pick the gear up he started crying because of the flanel details that we put in the gear. It has been a very emotional project with ups and downs. We all know people who have been effected by breast cancer. We are greatful that the gear is done and even more greatful that we could be a part of such a wonderful cause. So, for all of you who live here in Vegas, watch the news at the end of the month and you will see our gear.

Quick Update

Jill just finished her first week back at work. She spent all week setting up the new business and is completely exhausted. They already have orders coming in and people waiting to send them orders when they oficially open on Oct. 4th. It's very exciting.

Peter is enjoying being a stay at home dad. He is definitely a little overwhelmed at times but is doing a great job. School is crazy for him. It is extremely difficult (hence the reason he quit working and Jill went back to work) but so far he is getting excellent grades. All is well in that department of our lives. He is currently busy packing up al of our stuff for our move at the end of the month. We are excited to get Aly into her own room. Finally!!

Aly is, well, Aly, a big ball of energy. She is constantly going. She loves that she gets to go over to Audrey's house every day, since Becky is watching Aly while PEter's at class and JIll is finishing up at work. She is constantly telling Mommy and Daddy, "Au-tee Fun", and fights Jill every day when it is time to go home because she doesn't want to leave. She is getting better at talking. Every day she learns something new. She is starting to put sentences together and comprehends more than we realize. She loves to copy people in speech and behavior. She is so big now wearing 3T and 4T clothing. Jill just had to buy her new shoes, sz 7!!!

We love all of you so much. We're sorry if we don't always get to visit with everyone due to our crazy hectic schedules but we do love you all.
